• What does "Do-Not-Call Ready" mean?
A Subscription Account Number (SAN) is an identification number indicating a yearly subscription to the Do Not Call (DNC) registry. Any organization that uses the telephone for consumer prospecting must register with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and receive a SAN.
You cannot use the DNC feature in our products without a SAN.
If you do not have one or if you log in and do not have access to the DNC feature, click here and follow the step by step instructions to register with the FTC.
The SAN is free up to five area codes. After five, it is $55 per area code. Once you have your SAN, input it into your "My Account" information. This enables you to identify who you can include in your telemarketing. Call customer service for more info or questions at 800-230-0573.
Cole Information uses the FTC National DNC database file to update it's database. Please note some states have their own DNC databases that are not shared with the FTC. Because of this it is important for any organization prospecting via the telephone to inform themselves about individual state DNC regulations.
